33% deposit is required when the reference photographs have been agreed upon or after the first sitting, if there have been no photographs taken. One third is due midway through the painting, upon the client’s approval of the progress. The final third is due upon completion of the painting.
The client is billed for travel and accommodation expenses, if the artist must travel to photograph and or meet with client. In addition, the client is charged a per day fee of $200 effective the day the artist departs for meeting.
